Isabel eyed the woman carefully. Unlike herself, Ripley was very obviously not entirely human, and the effect would be unnerving had Isabel not seen a great many strange things in her life already.
And to be honest, after the Wraith, Ripley looked quite normal.
"Yes," Isabel said. "I'm Isabel. How are you feeling? You got shot the other day, didn't you?" She grimaced. "Sorry. That wasn't the most appropriate thing to say. I'm a bit frustrated at the moment. That Dr. McKay..." she trailed off and shook her head. "I didn't come out here to moan about him, even if I do keep going back to how unbelievably irritating he is. Surely there are enough people here that I can stay away from him for a while."
She scowled at a fruit of some sort hanging from a nearby tree. A moment later it exploded, showering the nearby trees with soft flesh.
"Perhaps I'm more than a little frustrated," Isabel commented, eyeing the debris.
