It took May a second to process what Ami meant by a "reader" and that she couldn't help it. Wow. She took a bite of a wax apple, munching on it thoughtfully. Yeah, reading minds without being able to block it out, that would suck. Just the thoughts of some of her own classmates back home would probably drive anyone over the edge.
