The Doctor hadn't found Rose yet. And he wasn't altogether certain what to say when he did find her. How to explain she'd been experimented on, tortured, who knew what else... no easy task. Hhe didn't envy Daniel telling the others.
He'd eaten a bit of the soup and washed out his own bowel before going out for a bit of air while gathering his thoughts. He seemed to have at least five of them running through his head at any given time, so why wasn't at least one something helpful when it came to this upcoming conversation.
Once outside he heard a distant sonic boom, then a tortured whine. He looked up. Jet?
He caught a flash of something that looked like a small space shuttle hitting the trees some distance away.
The sound of trees breaking was better then the sound of an explosion. But if it was a shuttle that had come through atmosphere, the belly would be radiating great heat. And there were trees, recent rain or not.
"Downed plane, bring as much water as you can. Move it!" He called into the kitchen before taking off at a run.
Plane was easier for them to assimilate than small space craft.
In his hury he left the depleated kit he had not yet returned to the med lab.
It was easy to find the crash, he only had to follow the sound and the smell of smouldering as the wood and leaves caught the heat. He just hyoped they didn't burst into flame. A jungle fire was the last thing they needed.
He arrived at the sceen to spy May already there. And some cries for help from inside.
"Don't move." He barked to passangers... crew? "You may be injured."
