Scott laughed from Ami's reaction and his own delight at being back in his own skin. "I'm a girl again!" Ami proclaimed, pushing her breasts up in a very flattering manner.
"You certainly are," he growled, tackling her and rolling them both on the mat. They kissed and touched, of course, but didn't progress any further. "I don't care what this stupid island throws at us," he told her. "I love you. And lust you. In equal parts, I think."
Ami smiled with her heart in her eyes. "I love and lust you, too."
Scott kissed her, then turned his head away from Ami. "You hear that, island? Fuck you!" he shouted at the top of his lungs. Ami threw her head back and laughed.
They lie there for a while, content in each other's arms, until thirst and hunger prodded them to join the rest of the world. They were locating their hastily removed clothes from the morning when Scott stopped short. "What time is it?" he asked abruptly.
Ami responded, bemused, "Does it really matter here?"
Scott grinned at her, absently laying one hand on her thigh. "Not really. But it's light out. When we woke up before it was dark. 'Can't see your hand in front of your face' dark."
Ami's brow furrowed as she followed his train of thought. "And before that it was the morning. Strewth! Did we sleep for the rest of the day?"
Scott shrugged, grimacing a little from his scratched-up back. "It sure looks that way," he replied. Then he crawled over to his carry-on bag. "My watch is in here somewhere," he explained as he unzipped the front pocket. "It has the date on it."
