Scott was chuckling from Ami's "shagged into unconsciousness" remark when her thought brought him up short. "You had more than one?" The look Ami gave him was the equivalent of "Duh." "I mean, I know you can -- and do -- but I had one huge, ginormous one and was out. And your stomach hurt? Are you okay?" He felt strangely guilty and proud of that.
Ami laughed softly and squeezed his hand. "I'm fine. Exceptionally well-shagged." As he resumed the search for his watch Ami touched his back near the top of the scratches. "Aren't you going to heal that?"
Scott grinned at her over his shoulder. "Nope."
Ami frowned, puzzled. "Why not?"
"They're 'badges of conquest,'" he replied in a close approximation of Kevin's accent.
