Scott was very, very glad that he was shielded from the others' emotions. Ami's were enough all by themselves; not overwhelming, but potent nonetheless. As Ami spoke with Mara, Scott turned to Faith and Tommy. He said quietly, "If we can be certain of who drove Lucy to suicide, I think that Mara's suggestion is spot on." The mere thought of a person capable of such a thing made him grind his teeth.
