Molly patted the tree limb she was perched on. "Like a log." Her eyes danced with humor. "When this is over I may sleep a full day through. But for now, adrenaline is a good thing."

She jumped down, landing gracefully on her feet.

"For our breakfast pleasure, we have slightly mashed bannanas, bruised apples and oranges, some smoked deer and rabbit, and fresh blueberries, if you care to pick them yourself." She pointed to a bush to the right. "Which is another very odd thing about this place. These fruits and nuts should not be ripe at the same time."
