"Well," Daisy said softly, keeping her mouth close enough to John's ear that her lips caressed it as she spoke. "I thought that first we'd have a drink together."
"There's a bottle and two glasses in the bottom drawer of the dresser," she continued. Daisy unlaced her fingers and caressed his shoulders for a moment before sliding them down his torso and then around behind him to pull him hard against her.
Daisy gasped at the feel of his erection against her and shamelessly ground herself against him for a moment. Her breathing became erratic and she lost her focus for a moment. "Where was I?" she asked John.
"You--" John's voice was thick as well. "You mentioned...mentioned drinks," he said.
"Yes, drinks," Daisy agreed. She nipped at his ear and smiled in satisfaction as the shiver she produced. "And then dancing."
"Dancing?" John asked in a distracted voice. He lowered his head to lay kisses along her neck. Daisy gasped and giggled, aroused and tickled simultaneously. She slapped her hands against the door at her back, forcing herself not to tear at his clothes.
"Yes..." Daisy said. "Dancing. You know what they--oh God," she said as John bit at her neck. She could feel the curve of his lips in a smile.
He ceased biting her and raised his head enough to ask, "They what?"
"You know what they say...about dancing," Daisy said. She was proud of herself for speaking in a calm, measured voice.
"No," John said. One of his strong hands slid down her side and then down over her hip, as far as he could reach, then began gathering the fabric of her dress. "What do they say about dancing?" he asked.
"That it's..." Daisy paused, her attention focused on his fingertips. John's hand slid beneath the fabric of the dress to caress her bare thigh. "That it's the v-vertical expression of a horizontal wish."
"Is that what they say?" John murmurred. Daisy whimpered, desperate for his touch, frustrated and eager and when exactly had she lost control of the scene? "Interesting," he went on. "And then?"
"And then," Daisy said, "I was--was hoping that you'd make love to me all night."
