Tara's report that George and Chloe had worked out how to fix the bodyswapping problem was very welcome news. Daniel was sure that the Doctor felt likewise. They had started back up the hallway to find George and Chloe get swapped back. Neither of them said anything, but investigating Shannon's--Charlie's--death further could wait. He--or she or they--weren't going anywhere.

( Is there a higher power at work here? I mean, are we asking too much out of life? )

Chloe knocked on the door to Claire's room, then opened it without waiting for an answer. Claire was sitting on her bed nursing Aaron with Daisy in attendance. Detective Inspector Hunt stood nearby in an uncharacteristically anxious stance. Daisy glared at Chloe. "Do you mind? We'd like some privacy here--"

"I think we can put things right again," Chloe interrupted.

( Weaseling out of things is what separates us from the animals--except weasels. )

Shannon reeled away from Soldier Boy and ducked around a corner. Her vision blurred, signaling that tears were imminent. As if she didn't already know that. Her eyes were burning with unshed tears and she was trembling with the need to lash out.

( Shannon is not a happy camper. )

When: Nearly noon (about six hours after Who Da Man)

After the third annoyed glance at her Chloe realized she was drumming her fingers on the counter. It took a deliberate effort of will to stop. The itch to do something was becoming unbearable. She felt antsy, unable to sit still. Chloe wondered if this was some side effect of having Faith's hyped-up "Slayer" metabolism, or some kind of predatory instinct that went with it.

Or maybe she was just bored.

( You can't just twitch your nose and make things happen, you know. This isn't Bewitched. )

Edited to add: Don't sweat the details of how your characters switched bodies. I added the "touching or close by" requirement to give people an out if they didn't want to have their hharacters swap places. Now I'm revoking it. If you want to join in, forget that. It's simply random--if you and another player want to join the party, just do it. Doesn't matter how close you were or weren't.
