Dr. House pulled his head back, the smirk remaining, though it held far less humour than it had when he'd arrived. It sounded like a social experiment gone horribly wrong, and he didn't really want to be part of it. Here's hoping the 'right' decision is made, whatever it was. Granted, it was remarkable what man could do; did it come as a surprise? No. The Milgram Experiment.

Add money and the assurances that the experiment must go on, and you have people off the street more than willing to run a good wattage through the victim, complete with the shrieks of pain... even after upping the experiment and making the operator be in the same room."
