He eyed Alan's companions. They were both women, which...surprised him, given the way Alan had looked at him. (Guess he switch hits,) Blaise thought. (Maybe they all do,) he thought, given the dark haired girl's greeting. Millie was presentable enough, but it was the woman with the glittering green eyes who really caught his attention. She had a physical presence that a blind man couldn't miss; you couldn't miss her when she walked into the room.
Then Blaise forced himself to get back to business. He displayed his dog tags again. "My name is on these tags. Anyone else here wearing tags?"
