Kenzaki checked to see if he was wearing any dog tags. For some reason, he knew what they were, though that was odd, given that he had no clue as to his name and where he was from. He could remember that he was from Japan and spoke Japanese. He had no clue where other than that, though.
He didn't understand most of the English, but checking for the dog tags was a natural idea that even he could figure out, since some other people were doing it. "No dog tags," he said, only somewhat disappointed. He didn't have any clue who he was, but the notion that he was in the Self Defense Force didn't make sense either.
