"Well...nobody remembers who they are," Millie said. "Like I said, some of us have found passports or dog tags or something so we think we know our names. I'm Millie. Millie Hagen--apparently."
Millie closed the door, after taking a long look up the stairwell at the jungle foliage. This made three people who'd wandered into the complex from outside. She wondered if there were any others lurking out there.
"Anyway..." Millie said, "Nobody else in here--" she indicated the crowd standing around a redhead who was cooking in the kitchen area "--seems to have any ID on them. Some of the others in the complex do, but they're wandering around."
