.Who: Damon/"Will"
Where: The Staff: His bedroom & The Office
When: Sometime after Mistaken Identity but before The Return
Invited: Closed
Status: Incomplete
Will returned to his laptop on the off-chance that he might have left some further clues to his identity there. The case was heavy-duty, not quite top-secret confidential, but certainly built to handle a little man handling. It was also locked, which resulted in further shock - after he instinctively popped the lock telekinetically.
"Whoa," Will whispered. Picking a lock was different from moving furniture. It surprised him that his telekinetic ability was that honed and precise. He practiced for a few moments, locking and unlocking the case before finally pulling the laptop out. Placing the case aside, he balanced the machine on his lap and popped the lid.
The lack of power told him that it had been a while since it was last charged, so he located a power outlet and plugged it in. The password protected login didn't surprise him in the least. After a few false starts in which he tried his name, Claire's name and Aaron's name – and not expecting them to work – his brain began to puzzle over the means of hacking into his own laptop.
That was when it happened. One moment he was trying to figure out the proper way to hack it and the next he was in it. Not physically, Will hadn't touched a single key or typed a single code, but somehow he knew the computer. His mind connected with it and he understood it. The bits and bytes and binary made sense to him; his brain translated the programming while he felt his way around the electronics.
"What the fuck?" Will exclaimed, jerking himself out of the experience. (What the fuck kind of Matrix shit was that?)
