John glanced off to the side as Aeryn wandered away from the gathered crowd. Something tugged at him, seeing her wrap her arms around herself and sink down to the jungle floor. He winced as the dark-haired doctor activated his glowly blue ball, the buzzing hum setting his nerves on edge. But he had to admit, whatever it was, it worked. Or seemed to anyway. The throbbing mass of pain in his head diminished signifigantly and he didn't feel like he was going to keel over and vomit at any moment. Which was always a good thing.
He dabbed at the sticky remainder of drying blood on the side of his head and nodded at the man. "Hey thanks, that actually feels better than I thought it would."
He looked over toward Aeryn again and with a small nod to the crowd started to walk toward her, "Excuse me, I should .. you know .. probably go and .. talk to her, or something."
John made his way slowly toward her, crouching down beside her. "You okay?" he asked softly. He tilted his head a little so he could look over at her, there was something about her that tugged at him, a part of him that remembered holding her. He had no idea where that came from, probably from the blow he had taken to the head, but it was a feeling he just couldn't shake and so he reached out and put a gentle hand on her arm.
