John slowly looked away from Aeryn, her unintended insult still stinging his dignity a little. He reached out to shake Rose's hand, gripping it firmly and providing her with his most award-winning smile. "I'm not one to argue with a woman who looks to know what she's talking about," he said, releasing her hand. "Not too keen on being donned in scrubs, per se, but if it means being able to get my clothes back, then I'll take the hit. And hey, week old donkey carcass isn't such a bad smell, it's considered quite high class in some cultures."
Furious yapping bark filled the room as a small Golden Reciever puppy apparently decided John Chrichton was a fun new toy. Oorie growled at his boot even as her entire back end wagged to try to keep up with her tail.
“I think she may want to roll in you. Not a ringing endorsement.” Rose winked before scooping up the wriggling puppy.
"Whoa, hey!" John said with a small laugh and a smile, taking a step back as the energetic puppy came his way. "Hey little fella," he said with a grin, watching as the puppy tried to wring itself in a circle while still trying to look ferocious at the same time.
“I think she may want to roll in you. Not a ringing endorsement.” Rose winked before scooping up the wriggling puppy.
"Like I said, nothing wrong with that, I think that puppy knows where it's at." He smiled at her as she began to walk him to where he assumed the showers were. She had a very easy and laid back attitude, one that made John feel a little less out-of place and time.
