It's Molly-in-River's body that is currently losing her mind. Molly's psychic ability is limited to receiving directed telepathy from other elves. She's suddenly experiencing all River has to deal with. All the minds and emotions. River-in-Molly's body would be experiencing quiet and calm for the first time in years.
