Continued from here.
Tagging Daisy & Locke, maybe Blaise??
"Sure," Ash said. "I think somebody's already busily scrounging in the galley section over there."
Jon followed his finger towards the fuselage and nodded as he took in the sparks, not to mention the smoke coming from several external panels. He'd already heard about the pair who'd been killed by the engine and he remembered enough of Jack's aeronautical engineering training to know that further explosions were entirely possible.
"So the galley's in there still? Great - let's see if we can wheel out any of those trolleys the stewardesses trip over. Sooner or later we'll need food, and chances are it'll be before search and rescue arrive." Out here? We'll be lucky if they even know where to look.. "If someone's already done that, we can throw out whatever's left." He cant his head back to the other man, aware that he wasn't exactly sounding like a teenager right now. "Maybe we'll even find my iPod before the rest of the plane blows up."
Breathing in tightly, he ignored his aching ribs and set off down the beach, intent on ignoring the issue of Daniel's presence for the time being. For now it was a serious case of "what do we have, what do we need", with the answers being "nothing" and "everything". That said, plans B and C were to look for the flight recorder and to check the remaining fuel lines and accessible circuit boards, maybe try to shut off that smoke before it became a big honkin' ka-boom..
