The woman had to be a product of genetic engineering far beyond his world's capabilities. That she had come out whole and strong was amazing. In fact, the fact that she was strong was worth noting. Of course, Kenzaki hoped he wouldn't be in her body long enough to worry about the difference.
At least she'd grown up with her abilities. His were by luck, meant out of friendship, and he was beginning to suspect that he was actually starting to change, to become more and more Undead and less and less human.
