Kenzaki thought about what she'd said. To be raised as a killer... he was lucky, in that way. He'd chosen to become an Undead. At least she had found someone she seemed to like, and presumably, trust.
"I've become a warrior," he said. "Or more of a warrior; my new people... they're fighters. Most are killers." A few had skipped that fate in the current era. "I was reborn to fight, and so that's what my body is geared to do. To survive. I'm stronger, tougher to injure. Faster to heal. I don't need to sleep , eat, or drink. I probably don't need to breathe, but I'm too used to doing it." He paused, thinking of what else to say. "I won't age and I can't die."
