Considering that Daniel had just come from an intense little conversation with Ami and Scott, Locke was certain that the Air Force man wanted to talk about more than digging boar pits. It was just as well, because he hadn't gotten a chance to tell Daniel about the Guardian.
Locke nodded at Daniel, then turned to Daisy. "Take care of things here?"
"Of course," she replied. She stretched up to give him a brief kiss. "Come back soon."
Locke smiled at her with all of the affection he felt for the remarkable woman. "Of course," he echoed. Then he joined Daniel, walking more slowly than he'd like to jostle his head as little as possible. "What is it, Daniel?" he asked quietly.
