Rose had wanted to try and carry some of McKay's equipment, but The Doctor had stopped her with a shake of his head. He did however take the tool kit and wires soon after they started out.
"Ah, I get it. It's some kind of geek thing." She gave them both a grin. "No getting help from girls, then."
She moved to walk alongside Tara. "So, you often volunteer for long tedious trips to the back of nowhere?"
