George looked at Carlos and smiled. Then she squinted out at the sea. The sun was well above the horizon now, but still dazzling. "I think going for a swim would be fun. I've never gone swimming in the ocean."
At Carlos' shocked look, George shrugged. "The ocean's too cold in the Pacific Northwest, and we've been too busy since we got here. My family always went to a cabin on a lake for vacations."
"I've gone wading out there a couple of times, but that's all. I'm game if you are!"
