McKay knew he was being goaded. He knew it. He just couldn't do anything about it. It was like his relationship with the now Lt. Colonel Sheppard. He'd put up with the jabs in the knowledge that somewhere under there, there was the chance that he might have a friend. In the Doctor's case, even if the guy was an alien.
"Eucalyptus... right. Haven't seen any yet. With my luck, an angry panda will be guarding it." Still, didn't mean that Rodney didn't begin keeping an eye out. Who knows? Stranger things around here have happened.
