Walt's shout startled Scott awake. He rolled off of Ami, instinctively calling his sphere to his hand as his brain tried to figure out what was happening. The yellow lab's panting and multiple sand-soft footsteps sounded just outside of the shelter. Scott empathically sent a strong "go away" vibe, primarily to the dog. "I know, I know," Walt said teasingly from the outside of the thatched walls. "You're with your *girlfriend*." He snickered, then said "C'mon, Vincent." The footsteps departed.
Scott flopped back on to the woven mats, wincing from the scratches on his back. /What happened?/ Ami asked sleepily.
Scott chuckled. /Oh, nothing much. Walt and Vincent nearly walked in on us buck naked and in each other's... bodies...?/ He bolted upright, gaping at *his* arms and legs in the small amount of light that penetrated the tepee's thatching. "It worked!" he shouted.
