"It's going to take some work, but I think a good percentage of the people here can handle it," Ami said. "I think that George is right about some things...people need to come forward with their skills and their strengths. I'm still having some problems with that; trusting people about my 'special' talents.
"But knowing that it's a possibility means that people will have to start putting things in perspective and truly figuring out how to survive."
Ami sighed, and looked around the beach. "Too bad we can't get rid of all the dead weight, send them out into the jungle on their own; but something tells me that approach just wouldn't go over well with a lot of the people here."
