Nodding to himself at Chris' words, Jon scanned the crowd for anyone looking less than sad about Lucy's passing - or too sad, for that matter. He had enough experience with people to get a good idea of when someone was hiding a dirty secret or otherwise trying to throw the wool over his eyes, and even more experience of seeing people deal with the death of a colleague, sadly.
Maybe looking into the causes of Lucy's suicide would be one of those times when being seen as an irritating kid worked in his favor. Maybe not. Either way he was still pretty good at sneaking around and provoking reactions, with the added bonus that it'd give him a good reason to avoid Tommy, Mara and their overly astute observations for a while.
