She'd gotten most of the lowdown from Chris the other night - he hadn't minded talking about that - but he'd skimped on some of the details. "I heard most of this last night, but nine months pregnant? What the - don't tell me they tranquilized a pregnant lady and dragged her off!"
"Hey, take it easy," Dean said, although he looked about as outraged as she did. Of course, he hadn't nearly jumped a foot.
She calmed down, but still couldn't believe her ears. "Sorry. My Mom just went through a really difficult pregnancy, and - well - let's just say I know how risky it can be towards the end."
