May woke up for the fifth time that night, and instinctively rolled over to try to go back to sleep... and then realized it was morning. Oh.
She sat up blearily, casting about to confirm that she had been using her backpack as a pillow (it was there) and started stretching out her stiff muscles. Maybe she should have stuck to sleeping in trees.
