Alerted by the guard that a lock down was imminent, the survivors split into four groups according to Locke's plan. Verlin reappeared to confirm Alex's assertion that the captive women were alive and essentially well, along with the map, so after confirming rough lines of communication and a start time of 5 minutes hence the three rescue squads were all set to move.

The most heavily armed team was going in by the north-west door that Scott had already unlocked. This placed them on the opposite side of the building from Ami and Daisy's last known location, however Alex stated that this was the wing in which Rose and Claire had been kept. She was also adamant that they were out of their rooms and could not have made their way into the east wing without the aid of a staff member, most of whom were already occupied or indisposed by events elsewhere, although the Doctor's sonic screwdriver should be able to deal with any operating locks.

The other two teams made their way around the building towards the entrances to the "operational" wing. Between them they should be able to cover the exam rooms and offices in which most of the staff lived and worked, with Alex neutralising the biometric locks with her palm print and - for the southern group - hopefully those of the security office and other internal doors. Failing that there was a distinctive crackle in the air close to Tara, and Scott appeared determined enough to blow any barriers off their hinges.

Whether Ami and Daisy had made it out of this wing and back to the other two women remained to be seen, but the quicker the women were found the more time they would have to locate and destroy whatever technologies it was that these people were using to terrorise them - and as many records as possible. In the meantime, no-one was looking forward to seeing Sam's vision in reality; the fact that apparently dead bodies were more likely to be "temporarily unoccupied" wasn't much of a comfort.
