Who: Daniel, Blaise
Where: Medical Facility: Control Room
When: Day 20, afternoon, picking up from Close Encounters with the Dead Kind
Invited: Locke, the Doctor, Megabyte, Scott, Alex (Dean, Sam, Jon and May when they return from their recon with something to report)
Status: Complete

Daniel's attention flickered back and forth between the prisoners on the monitor and the data files on the system that Damon and Rodney had located for them previously. Apparently, nearly everything was in the system if you knew where to look for it. The combined hacking abilities and skill with understanding computers that Damon and Rodney possessed and Damon's quietly admitted background in "securities" unearthed a plethora of information about what had been done – and who was doing it – at this facility.

A lot of it still read like – well, Greek wasn't the appropriate word, but Daniel could only understand the very basics of the biology, biochemistry and recombinant DNA experiments that were being performed. What he could understand very clearly – deprivation of the senses, tests of healing, measures of psychic skill, fertility treatments – all read like a bad horror novel. What was the purpose of any of this?

Alex was on hand, to offer what explanations she could. More importantly, she would be the first person questioned. Who was she? Why was she helping them?

Daniel looked away from the computer to the monitor showing the prisoners. There were seven of them, from the personnel listing: Dr. James Wilson, Dr. Sato Sakai, Ethan – who apparently had a Ph.D after his name – a nurse, Tony Sargeant, and three guards, Alan Fisher, Anne Lewis and Walter Reed. The names and job duties had been confirmed by Alex.

This was not a conversation that he wanted to have. The decision about what to do with the prisoners was not going to be a pleasant one or an easy one. Daniel honestly felt that the kidnapped women should have some input, or at least the opportunity to confront their tormentors, which is why they hadn't moved to the actual questioning yet. Instead he paged all those with a vested interest in the "work" that had been done and asked them to come to the control room.

"You ever think that sometimes death is too good for certain people?" Daniel asked aloud to no one in particular.

[OOC: Assuming that Blaise is still in the security room with Daniel.]
