"Good," Hugh said, feeling abruptly very tired. "That's good."
He walked over and knelt beside Molly, wincing at the twinges in his knees when he did. "C'mon Molly, darlin'," Hugh said, "there's nothing you can do for her now. When George or Daisy--then you can say goodbye."
