Who: Chris, Tara - Open
When: Day 28, Early Morning
Where: outside
Invited: All
Status: Incomplete

A gathering of energy that was subtle and complex. It spoke of power and patience and craft and insanity and blood. She, Molly, and Chris had almost been inserparable these past few days after her return. She didn't remember much of her absence, but assured Chris that it would all come back. somehow she knew that. In the meantime, they examined energies, natural, mystical, and magical in an attempt to combat this powerful blood-magic spell.

That night, Tara woke and ran to the others. "It's time." They had a plan. They rand into the woods and Tara began weaving a protective spell. They knew she had neither the time nor the ingredients nor anything else to combat such a powerful spell, but they had been working on a way to weave mystical and magical energies together. If they could protect at least themselves from the spell, they could in turn help the others.

They had all agreed that Molly should stay behind with a special spell stored in Tara's special rock. It would go off at a certain time if something happened to Chris and Tara, counteracting the powerful blood-magic spell with their sacrifice. Hopefully giving a second chance to save the others. Molly was furious and adamantly against it, but the two managed to convince her to stay behind.

That's how Tara had found herself sitting on the ground in the woods after the spell went off. She looked down at her hand and saw there was some type of herb in it. She looked in front of her and there was a...a what? Circle with a star in it?...drawn in the dirt in front of her. Around her neck were some types of leaves...though what kind...oak perhaps? "What's an OAK?" She thought to herself. She looked around her and saw all manner of plants and powders and stones arranged in what is obviously a pattern, with symbols scrawled on the dirt even around that (divine symbols) but none of it meant anything to her. "What's a divine symbol?" She thought to herself.

Ok, so for some inexplicable reason, she was out here in the woods playing in the dirt. She looked and saw an item that she thought might be a good container for the items on the ground, but couldn't remember what it's name was. She gathered the thing and eventually figured out how to open it. Put the items in it, whatever they were, and got up.

Chris watched the woman as she blinked, and gathered the pack. "Hey," he said as he caught up with her. Obviously, she'd been in the middle of some kind of ritual - his brain refused to come up with which one, and he had the faintly annoying notion that he should know. "Wait up. Um. Whatever your name is."

He didn't know hers. But he didn't know his, either, so they were kind of even.

Tara looked in surprise at the thing standing next to her. She remembered his name, knew she should remember other things, but they weren't coming to her, yet.

"I'm Tara." She kept back until the memories came to her. He may be dangerous.

ooc: decided to keep this one separate since it was someplace different.

"Tara. Right." He looked at her, wondering how he couldn't remember his own. or where he came from. He didn't have the sense that this jungle was "home". "I'd tell you mine, but I have no clue what it is. Or where we are."

Chris watched the woman, confused as she tried to make sense of where they were. When she reeled, he almost caught her, but she stabilized.

"Of course." This felt right to him, what he should be doing. "Which way?"
