Who: Ami
Where: The Staff, Kitchen
When: Day 28, Sometime between noon and 1PM
Invited: Open to all
Status: Incomplete
Finding her way to the kitchen was easier this time around. Knowing where one is going always makes it easier to get there. The artificial lights – Ami couldn't remember what they were called, but she knew that they mimicked outside sunlight – shone brightly making her think that it was supposed to be indicative of midday. A quick check of the clock on the wall in the surprisingly empty kitchen confirmed that.
Ami walked straightway to the actual kitchen area and began to look in the cupboards and the refrigerator. Someone had started a list of supplies, but it was wholly incomplete. Ami was tempted to work on it until her stomach reminded her – loudly – of her reason for being in the kitchen.
Five minutes of rummaging later, Ami had found a large soup pot, a combination of fresh, frozen and canned vegetables, and noodles. She passed on the beef and chicken flavored buillon and instead stuck to seasonings for the water in the pot.
"Vegetable soup it is," Ami declared to no one in particular and set about cutting the fresh carrots, all the while wondering about the oddities of fresh vegetables on a tropical island.

Date: 2007-03-23 03:05 am (UTC)She expected George to name - or point out - three blokes. She didn't expect for the second name and third names to tumble from George's lips to be females.
"Wow, okay, wow, that's, um, Chloe too?" The moment the words escaped, Ami snapped her foolishly working mouth shut. As an image of bodies entangled sprang into her head, she cursed her over active imagination. "I mean, that's um, wow."
(Just. Stop. Talking.)
For whatever reason, hearing Faith's name didn't surprise Ami. The George she wrote about didn't seem the type, but Faith did seem to be incredibly persausive. Very few people - of either sex - probably ever said no to Faith.
But Chloe . . . Ami hadn't written much about her except that she kept to herself a lot, hung out with Veronica and was highly inquisitive. She also hadn't written that Chloe was a blond bombshell either, so there was evidence aplenty that Ami left things out that she assumed were common knowledge.
"I mean, that's ... adventerous," Ami finally managed around her amazement. She didn't feel disgusted by it - George and her lovers were adults and could do as they pleased - but she hadn't gotten past the shock.
And there was the tiny part that was obscenely curious. "But you don't remember a thing about it?"
That was when she noticed the unnamed young man trying hard to not look at them. She debated, then nudged George in the ribs and indicated the teenager.
They were probably giving him wank fodder for months.

Date: 2007-03-24 07:40 am (UTC)"No," she said, "I don't remember anything. Except--you know." (Waking up in a pile of naked bodies.)
Ami gave her a curious look, silently urging her to continue. "Waking up this morning. In--in bed," George said. "With...them. Jack. And Faith and Chloe."
Ami's eyes didn't look like they could get much wider, and a deep blush was visible even with her dark complexion. George didn't miss the glance at Chloe sitting across the room. She could only imagine what was going through Ami's mind. Probably, given that George had no actual memories of the events in question, the same kinds of pictures George had in her head.
So Ami's next words surprised George. "So...you don't know for sure," Ami said. "Maybe you didn't--"
George appreciated the effort, but she shook her head. "Don't you think finding yourself...there is proof enough?" Ami's expression said that she couldn't really argue with that. "Besides--" George said, then shut her mouth before she stumbled into Too Much Information Land.
"It happened," George said at last. (I just don't know how I feel about that. Or about the fact that Jack and Faith and Chloe are all chomping at the bit for a rematch.)
