Who: The Whole Frakkin' Posse
Where: DHARMA Bunker: The Kitchen
When: Around noonish, during Soup's On
Invited: Anyone
Status: Complete
Tropical thunderstorms, the group quickly learned, were violent and intense and happened without any discernible warning.* Just as quickly the rain ended and then started up again. During the first deluge, they all crowded into the "jail" and listened to the thunder rock the trees while lightening illuminated the sky. The second deluge caught them on the walk back from the jail.
Daniel thought that the rain was a pleasant balm. It was cooling both to his perspiration soaked skin and the humid, tropical weather. There was also the added visual appreciation of the lovely cadre of soaked to the skin women who accompanied them. Daniel did his best to not ogle his companions – that would be disrespectful – but he did appreciate the sight, and he noted that he wasn't the only one. Some people, like Ricardo, were a bit more obvious in their appreciation than others.
Then again, some, like Faith, were a bit more blatant in making certain that everyone got an eyeful of her wares.
By the time they made it back to the bunker, the rain was choking off again and the sun making its luminous appearance.
"Perfect timing," Daniel remarked, pushing on the door to the bunker. It didn't open and for a brief moment he was confused. Then he recalled the key card that he wore on the necklace with his dog tags, tucked into his shirt. His worries that rain might have damaged it were unfounded as slipping it into the slot immediately activated the security panel. It didn't, however, open the door.
Daniel stared at the infrared panel for a moment, then automatically pressed his palm against it.
The panel scrolled his name Jackson, Daniel and requested his passcode.
"All right," Daniel murmured. "That could be a problem."
"Is there a problem, Daniel?" John asked.
"There might be," Daniel answered. "The good news is that we have a secure facility here. The bad news is that its security relies on a few things I don't remember. Like a pass code."
"You mean we're stuck out here?" Ricardo demanded.
"Or you know, we could do it the old fashioned way," Faith slipped in front of him, and Daniel was pretty certain that her breasts brushing up against him was no accident. She winked at him, then proceeded to pound on the door. "Sometimes, you just gotta knock."

(frozen) [Daniel, Damon/"Will"]
Date: 2007-03-20 01:37 am (UTC)Daniel ducked into the hallway, keeping his eyes open for Jon and following fast on the heels of the Brit Detective. While most people here simply took the weirdness in stride, it didn't take a genius to see that the weirdness wasn't settling well with Tyler.
"Hey, where's the fire?" The quip came from the red haired American with the possible wife and baby who just managed to side-step the fleeing detective.
Tyler murmured an apology and kept going.
"What's up with him?" 'Chris' asked.
"He's -" Daniel stopped. Tyler had every reason to be freaked out and Daniel didn't have any good reason to talk him out of being freaked out. "Never mind. Have you seen Jon?"
"Nope, not for a while. Is everyone back?"
"Yeah, we're all back," Daniel nodded. "If you see Jon, tell him to bring the notebook to the control room, please, all right, Chris?"
"Will," the man corrected him.
"What?"
"My name. I found some ID. I'm Will."
"All right, then, Will." Daniel nodded and headed toward the control room while Will ducked into the kitchen.

(frozen) [Isabel]
Date: 2007-03-20 10:40 pm (UTC)Especially as Scott had said she wasn't entirely human. Perhaps that would be reason enough for her to avoid the authorities. Yet here she was flaunting her abilities...
Too late to stop, of course.
"Will, eh?" Isabel asked the redhead. "Nice. Getting a bit hard to keep track of all these people discovering their names though."
(frozen) [Kenzaki]
Date: 2007-03-21 01:35 am (UTC)And on top of that, the wet clothing had been a distraction, the magical drying not blunting his feelings much. Jakkuson-san might have warned him to look out for strange abilities on his end, but he could guess from his own reactions that at least those were... well, plain and ordinary. Not wanting to look bad, he smiled and headed out the same door the others had come in. Someone in there could understand his words, at least.
"I'm going out to guard, call me if you need me," he said as he headed out the door.
KENZAKI exits.
