[Daniel] (Insert Clever Title Here)

Daniel knew that he was good at and knowledgeable about many things, but a few minutes of listening to the magic debate and the discussions of metaphysics – that he truly hadn't believed in until arriving on the island – told him that he was well out of his league. He didn't quite trust Willow – her ability showed itself to skirt the edges of fine control – but he was willing to leave her to it in the presence of Tara and the Winchester brothers, whom despite their controlling natures and paranoia, seemed to possess a bit of common sense about these things.
Besides, being in the Doctor's body was far too distracting.
Awareness of everything flooded him. It went beyond sight and sound and taste and smell, although those senses were there too and sharper even, but it was more than that. He could feel the movement of time and space around him which was both disconcerting and fascinating. Daniel couldn't have described the feeling in words, he couldn't even have pinned it down, but it was there. It was as though out of the corner of his eye, he saw the changing landscape, a mirror shattering into a thousand fragments each with a slightly different reflected image. The feelings and images were fleeting and Daniel could only really grasp them when he wasn't trying. The moment he tried to focus, it all slipped away, repeated patterns of glass and kaleidoscopes of what was, what is and what could be, spiraling away from him and out of reach.
How does the Doctor live like this? Daniel wondered. On one level, it was fascinating; on another it was creepy. And it explains a lot.
He decided to patrol the bunker and make his way to the control room. It was familiar and it was a way to focus his mind away from time, away from Roseand the memories of that far too enthusiastic kiss and her far too eager body and away from the old and pressing and hovering and knowing awareness that he instinctively knew was the Doctor's famous TARDIS.
It was somewhat comforting that the TARDIS was as confused as he was.
He stopped, supporting himself against the wall as the world spun away and shifted again. The TARDIS and Rose and all those sensations were gone and Daniel was left blissfully alone in his body and his head. The only thing he felt beneath his fingers was the cool cinder brick of the wall, and the only smell that assaulted his senses was the recycled air from the central air.
"Oh thank go-"
The repeated shifting choked off his words. A million worlds shattered and exploded out of the corner of his eye and the TARDIS stirred again.
"Oh give me a fucking break," Daniel muttered barely resisting the urge to bang his head against the wall. The Doctor's voice sounded strange to his ears and he sighed heavily. That only added to the unease as he reacquainted himself with the alien awareness of two hearts beating. "Now this place is teasing us."
"But what a rush, huh?"
Daniel didn't jump at the sound of Chloe's voice behind him. Some part of the Doctor's myriad of senses knew she was there; Daniel simply hadn't paid much attention. He turned and as Chloe slunk towards him exuding sex and a type of hunger that had nothing to do with food, he remembered that the buxom, sun-bleached blonde wasn't Chloe. "Not exactly."
"Where ya goin'?" Faith's movements went from predatory to casual in the blinking of an eye.
Not fooled, Daniel watched her curiously. "Perimeter sweep. Checking the video cameras. The usual. Feeling a bit out of my element in there." He inclined his head back toward the cafeteria. Daniel folded his arms across his chest and raised his eyebrows in inquiry, "I'm surprised you're not back there."
"What for?"
"Those are your books."
"Not really." Faith shrugged – an action that did all sorts of wonderful things to Chloe's wonderful cleavage – and tossed a sun kissed blonde lock of hair over her shoulder. Both Faith and Chloe wereincredibly hot attractive in their own ways, but somehow Faith managed to turn Chloe into some kind of sex kitten.
It wastempting intriguing.
"The books belong to the Watchers," Faith's words drew Daniel's attention back to meet Chloe's green-green eyes. If she noticed his distraction – and Daniel would have bet money that she did – Faith didn't show it. "'Sides, I don't do magic. I'm the Slayer. That means if it's evil, I slay it. Other people do the research." A wrinkle crinkled in Faith-in-Chloe's forehead, "Which makes me wonder why you aren't in there?"
"I translate ancient languages, and a few modern ones, but I don't do magic, either."
A chesire cat smile turned up the corners of her mouth and Faith drifted closer. Just like flipping a switch, casual was replaced by predatory and playful. Daniel resisted the urge to step away, knowing that would only encourage the woman.
"So, what's it like in there?" The change of subject took Daniel by surprise. Faith-in-Chloe breached his personal space. Her breasts lightly brushed his arm and Daniel was aware of oh-so-much more than just the heat from her body.
"In where?" Daniel frowned.
Faith ran her fingertips down his arm, leaving goose pimples in their wake. "In that alien body you're sporting. It's gotta be a little bit different right?" Faith pressed closer. Her voice dropped to a low, teasing whisper as she leaned up and breathed against his lips. "What's it feel like? Are all the parts the same? Aren't you just dying to know?"
Daniel came this close to answering her question. Mainly because it was far too hard to concentrate on not reacting to her when there was so much of her to react to and the Doctor's body sensed all of her on so many varied and different levels. Both of his hearts sped up a bit, the disconcerting double sensation proving to be just the distraction he needed to not give into Faith's wiles.
"You tell me, Faith, are all your parts the same?" Daniel whispered back. "What's it feel like inside Chloe?"
Faith wiggled suggestively against him, clearly not to be outdone. "You can find out if you'd like."
Daniel blinked and felt a rush of heat to his face. He chuckled despite his embarrassment, or maybe because of it. "I guess I walked right into that one, didn't I?"
"Yeah, you did," Faith agreed. Somehow her hands hooked around his waist, gripped the waistband of his pants and pulled him flush up against her, "Not changing the subject though, Danny. C'mon, I know you wanna play."
Another time, another place, another body, and Daniel knew that he probably would have lost the battle. As it was, with all of his senses overwhelmed by Faith, he was dangerously close to losing anyway. He reached between them and gripped Faith's hands and gently but firmly pried them from his pants. The brief flicker of confusion that danced across her face told him that she hadn't been expecting it to be that easy for him to remove her. That moment of confusion gave him enough control to put some minute distance between their bodies.
Later, Daniel would wonder why he didn't deny, arguing with himself that telling her 'No' outright, would only encourage her more. "Somehow, I don't think that the Doctor or Chloe would approve."
Faith licked her very pink lips, not the least bit deterred by the grip Daniel had on her wrists. "You might be surprised at what Chloe is up for doing. Trust me, you're on our list."
"I am?" Daniel ignored the rise and high pitch of the Doctor's voice. He also ignored the searing heat in his face and ears as he pushed outanother embarrassed laugh. "Is it me that you're after, Faith, or the Doctor?"
"Two birds, Danny, one stone." Faith might not have had her usual grace and athleticism, but she knew enough of fighting and martial arts to take him by surprise. One moment, he held her away from him and the next, he was against the wall with Faith pressed against him, her mouth latched onto his.
Daniel's hands flutteredindecisively uselessly in the air before coming to rest on Faith's shoulders, torn between pushing her away and kissing her right back.

[May-in-Hiro] Coming up for air?
Date: 2007-06-19 12:28 pm (UTC)MAYDAY ENTERS
Well, so much for less embarrassing.
May walked out of the cafeteria and stopped short at the sight of Chloe walling the Doctor, who flailed for a second before seemingly giving. She just stared for a second as she processed the sight - which made a bit more sense when she remembered that was really Faith, not Chloe. A brief flash of irritation followed, since she couldn't help but think that Faith and Chloe had gotten the better deal.
Then again, Hiro was still in the laundry room all alone and apparently hadn't been taking her body out on a test run, so maybe not.
Besides, somebody was going to have to bail out whoever was stuck in the Doctor; the way Faith had him pinned to the wall, she wasn't letting him go any time soon. "Geez, Faith, let the guy come up for air, why don't you?"
[Rose]
Date: 2007-06-19 06:51 pm (UTC)No sooner did she leave the caf then she saw Chloe with her hands on the Doctor. Or their bodies at least.
"Oi! Hands off. That belongs to me." She stormed down the hall to stand next to the odd tableaux. "You wanna add to your harem, look somewhere else."
[Daniel]
Date: 2007-06-19 07:09 pm (UTC)The cat call, naturally encouraged Faith who tried to intensify her assault on Daniel's mouth and his senses. Indecision gone, he gripped her shoulders, trying to push her away without hurting her.
Again, not soon enough.
"Oi! Hands off. That belongs to me." The voice, the presence, the nearness of Rose overwhelmed him. Somehow Daniel managed to detach Faith's mouth from his all the while wondering if the embarrassment could possibly be any worse.
Rose stood far closer than Daniel was comfortable with, practically poised to wedge herself between Daniel and Faith, and Faith smirked up at him deviously. Not there that had ever been any doubt as to whom was in possession of Chloe's body, but that smirk underscored it. That smirk did not belong on Chloe's face.
"This isn't - she kissed -" Daniel snapped his jaw shut in annoyed frustration. And why am I explaining and justifying myself?
He stretched his arms, pushing Faith as far from him as he could. He looked at Rose, managed to frown while blushing and then recalled her words. "What? I don't belong to you, Rose."
"You got the Doctor's body, yeah? So that's mine."
Daniel opened his mouth and snapped it closed.
Faith wasn't as wise. "Well the Doctor's not using it right now. Why can't Daniel? I'm sure he won't mind if you and the Doctor try out his body." To underscore her words, Faith ran her fingers sensually down Daniel's arm.
Daniel batted her hand away. "Yes, Daniel does mind. And Daniel is not trying out the Doctor's and why the hell am I talking about myself in third person?" Taking a deep breath, Daniel closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose. Soft, almost feminine laughter drew his attention away from Rose and Faith.
He didn't recognize the young man standing there smirking at them. What he did recognize was that there was something off about the man. He felt early for lack of a better word. It was more disconcerting than the two women on either side of him."Um, who are you and ... where did you come from, because I'm thinking that it's not 2004."
[Rose]
Date: 2007-06-19 07:22 pm (UTC)She turned to Chloe once more. "But have you ever heard of loyalty? Fidelity? Or at least just plain exclusivity?"
Okay, where had that last word come from? Kinda like her new ease with maths.
"No test drivin' anything. Got it? Only someone with little to no integrity'd do somethin' like that in a body don't belong to them."
[Faith] Stirring the Pot
Date: 2007-06-19 08:43 pm (UTC)Faith told her as much. "Lighten up, Rose. Chloe won't mind what I do as long as I don't bring her back with any broken bones or weird tattoos. Hell, she might even like weird tattoos.
"'Sides, I find it hard to believe that someone who hangs out with Jack isn't a little more open to experiences?" Faith leaned close and suggested with a waggle of her eyebrows, "We could even grab the Doc and go foursome. You gotta admit that Danny's hot, I'd like to take a go at another alien body, you're hot, and Chloe's body is definitely not too bad. Trust me, I've had it."
[Rose] Blushing Rose
Date: 2007-06-19 09:10 pm (UTC)"What... what Jack does is his own business. 'S long as he doesn't bring back anythin' contagious... or end up pregnant again. And just cause I think a bloke's attractive doesn't mean I need to sleep with 'im."
Okay, so she'd skipped out on Mickey for the Doctor, and invited Adam along... and kinda came close to takin' Jack up on his initial offer... but she hadn't. With any of them. Until recently that is. Damnit... she wasn't a slapper.
"More to life than sex, Faith. You find the right one, you stay with them. Don't need nothin else. There is no way," Rose poked at Chloe's sternum, "no way you get to feel up or more the Doctor, he body or his consciousness. Got that. The real him'd be politely uninterested anyhow. And you're takin advantage of Danny's new senses ready to make his brain explode."
[Daniel]
Date: 2007-06-19 09:59 pm (UTC)Daniel was really trying hard to ignore the conversation between Faith and Rose. The young Asian man was an anamoly, and not just because Daniel didn't recall seeing him before. He was out of sync and yet not and why would he seem to be both in and out . . .
"Geez, Faith, let the guy come up for air, why don't you?" The words came back to him.
Daniel frowned in concentration, quickly sorting through names and faces and voices to match the intonation. It had to be someone aware of the switch, someone unaccounted for in the confusion. "May?"
"Got it in one." May seemed surprised by that. She (He?) also seemed to be half-listening and half-trying-not-to-listen to Faith sharing things that went beyond the borders of Too Much Information.
Pregnant again!? Daniel's brain latched onto to Rose's words and he wished he didn't, particularly when she seemed intent on pointing out how sensitive he was to everything. One thing Faith did not need was more fodder.
"All right, you win," Faith agreed easily. A little too easily in Daniel's opinion. "No more feeling up the Doctor. I guess we'll just pick this up when you're back in your rightful skin, huh, Danny?"
"Yes." Three heads swiveled and Daniel realized what he said. "I mean, no. I mean, Faith, just ..." Daniel waved down the hall in frustration, and turned to May, "May, exactly whose body did you swap?"
[Mayday]
Date: 2007-06-20 12:38 am (UTC)"How'd you -" May began, and then remembered Scott noticing her accent back when they couldn't remember anything. It must still be apparent now.
Then something Rose said completely jolted her train of thought off the tracks, straight up in the air, spun it around and dropped it into the nearest river. "Waitwaitwait. Pregnant again?" She caught the look on the Doctor's face - no, it was Daniel - and changed the subject. "Never mind." Didn't mean she couldn't ask later, when she was hopefully back in her own body.
Again, it was really, really hard to keep from laughing at Daniel's Freudian slip, but she managed this time. "Some guy named Hiro Nakamura. Tara mentioned him last night; he wandered in during the amnesia mess. I think he only speaks Japanese."
"So he's wandering around in your body, then?" Rose asked. "I haven't seen him - uh, in you - at all."
"He's still in the laundry room. Well, he was five minutes ago," May amended. "And I just realized, I don't speak Japanese. Does anyone here speak it? 'Cause I think this explanation's going to be weird enough without a language barrier."
[Daniel]
Date: 2007-06-20 03:23 am (UTC)"Faith." She recognized the warning tone to Daniel's voice, even if it wasn't Daniel's voice. Fun and games were over, he was back in charge and it was truly a real shame.
"I was just going to ask what it was like having a vision problem."
"I'm sure that you were," Daniel said. To May, he added, "I speak Japanese. Let's go and explain this *place* to our wayward friend."
"Sounds like a plan," Faith agreed, slipping up beside Daniel. She shook off Rose's glare of warning with a roll of her eyes and toss of her head. "Yo, Rose, we're cool all right? Hands off the merchandise, no touchy feely. I promise. I just want to meet the new guy."
[McKay-in-Radek]
Date: 2007-06-20 03:11 pm (UTC)A very irritated McKay-in-Zelenka's body exited the Geek Lab, the door closing behind him. He stalked down the corridor, briefly considering some coffee. It'd be nice at the moment, but he didn't have the time.
Time.
Time--oh! Timelord!
Actually taking a look down the stretch of hallway between him and the control room, Rodney saw The Doctor. Well, not -The- Doctor.. but the Doctor and-and-and..
"Dr. Jackson..." His pace quickened a moment, though slowed once more when he saw ... Chloe? Rose... is she the same too, or has she..
"Um..." He knew for sure that Daniel and the Doctor had swapped out. "Dr. Jackson. We'll need you in the lab. We're planning on heading to the TARDIS, first ringing out to the beach, then taking the walk in. The ship may have everything we need, only it'll take some time for us to... work everything out." Science v. Magic, and in the scientist's head, if it couldn't be done by the application of science, no matter how advanced, it was impossible.
He nodded to Rose, and actually shuffled a little before nodding to the reporter. "I'm on my way to the control room to pull some files that we may need."
[Daniel]
Date: 2007-06-20 04:31 pm (UTC)"How soon?" Daniel asked. He had no problems going to the Doctor's ship, was actually dying to see it, but he'd want to make sure that everything was under control before leaving. Well, at least as under control as everything could be under the circumstances.
"We have another drop-in stray," Daniel continued. Despite his attempt at neutrality, he was certain that his feelings on the island continuing to drop random people in weren't positive.
Daniel indicated May-in-Hiro's body with a nod of his head. "He's Japanese and appearently speaks little to no English. I need to talk to him, at least find out his name and where he came from."
Or when he came from, Daniel added silently.
"He's currently occupying the body of May Parker." Daniel didn't expect Rodney to know who May Parker was, or even care aside from the factual aspects of it being another body switch.
"Who is this?" Faith-in-Chloe moved closer to McKay, drinking him in with that overly interested way of hers. She gave him a smile, and pushed his glasses up on his nose. "'Cause, you're kinda cute in a sort of geeky way."
Daniel rolled his eyes. Grabbing Faith's arm, he pulled her away from McKay before the man combusted. "Faith, that's Rodney. And Rodney, this is Faith, not Chloe with a personality transplant."
Faith smiled at Rodney and tossed him a wink, "I'm blonde now. Wanna give it a shot?"
[Hiro-in-May]
Date: 2007-06-20 04:50 pm (UTC)Both ideas were attractive, but he finally stood and popped open the door to the laundry room, sliding the backpack full of things over his shoulder. Sticking his head out the door, hand going to push up his glasses before he remembered he wasn't wearing glasses anymore.
He made a noise somewhat half-growl, half-whimper, and slid out the door, padding down the hall on alert. Looking for anyone who looked like he was supposed to.

Date: 2007-06-20 05:21 pm (UTC)"Well, as soon as I pull the files. It's a five day walk." Rodney's voice dropped. Taking what he'd considered key people away for five days, who knew what would happen around here. The Doctor, him, Daniel-- only people left who could keep the peanut-gallery in check would be Blaise and Ripley. When they were themselves.
Now?
Not so much.
At the news of the new 'drop in stray', his brows rose and he glanced around to see Hiro. A quick evaluation, and there was little interest. "Hi." Done. But, it took a beat before it sunk in that it was May 'in there'. "Oh.. um.. Yes, I know her... Helped me when the wraith attacked." He remembered! Webs and all... "Hi." This time, it sounded a little less strained, though still, idle chit-chat wasn't on the agenda. And, it was more than a little awkward talking to someone inside, rather than.. the person. "Thanks, by the way, for that."
The feline movement of Chloe took the scientist way off-guard, and he actually jumped. It- Oh! Faith...
As Daniel pulled her away, Rodney-in-Radek took a step back, and readjusted his glasses for the millionth time. "How does he--" Feral animal, she... though other times, other circumstances, he may have-- No.
"I've got work to do," While it came out in the Czech's voice, the rapid stammering was unmistakable. "When you..." Here, he moved fingers around, "switch... then..." He's got a coffee 'date' with Chloe... not Faith. Assuming, of course, that all was still on now that they got their memories back. When the 'date' had been made, she didn't 'know' him. Now? "Um... Sorry."
"Dr. Jackson." Yes. Divert. Re-focus. "Uh... a half hour. Think you can make it?" Assuming he can escape within the next couple of minutes. "We'll need The Doctor's... body so connections can be made to the TARDIS. Not much The Doctor can do in yours." In other words, they -have- to have Daniel if their plan is going to work, or rather, has any chance at working.
[May-in-Hiro]
Date: 2007-06-20 06:09 pm (UTC)May could totally understand the awkwardness. "Hi. Uh, no problem."
When Faith started putting the moves on Rodney, she covered her mouth to stifle more laughter. Dean had a point, the whole thing was hysterically funny. Didn't mean she wasn't going to get revenge on him later.
The Rodney and Faith Show was blocking her view of the laundry room, so she didn't immediately notice the door opening. When Rodney stepped back, though, she caught a glimpse of the figure tentatively approaching the crowd. Even though she was braced for it, it was still bizarre to see herself from outside.
"Wow, do I ever need a haircut," she muttered without thinking, prompting odd looks from Faith and Rose (Rodney was too busy plotting out the trek to the TARDIS to notice). She indicated the teenage girl who had stopped dead and was just staring at her. "I think we found him."
Re: [Hiro-in-May]
Date: 2007-06-20 06:21 pm (UTC)"Um." He looked from one member of the small crowd to the next, shuffling his feet, one hand clinging to the backpack strap like it was a lifevest. "That, uh," He was stammering, hoping one of them spoke Japanese, as this was going to be hard enough as it was. "That is my body, why am I not in it and how do I get it back?"
And then he waited, hopefully. Hoping he wouldn't have to try and figure out how to say that in English.
[Rose]
Date: 2007-06-20 07:02 pm (UTC)"It isn't only you, I'm afraid. Lots of people are not in the bodies they're supposed to be in." Rose elaborated a bit. "You're inside Mayday Parker. May's inside you."
She nodded to Daniel, and she was oddly getting used to remembering he WAS Daniel, if only because of body language. "Daniel would like to ask you some questions, okay?"
Poor bloke was most likely scared and confused. At least most people here had someone to talk to, a friend at least. He apparently had no one. And a woman talking to him would most likely be less an additional strain than having Danny lob a bunch of questions at him right off. Even if he was exceedingly polite and patient about it.
[Isabel]
Date: 2007-06-20 09:49 pm (UTC)The group gathered outside the cafeteria was impossible to miss, and she found herself face-to-face with a small Japanese man she'd never seen before.
"Oh," she said. "Hello."
She looked at the Doctor's body with Daniel in it.
"Something happened just now. I felt emotions - happiness, then disappointment. Big disappointment. Anything I should know about?"

Date: 2007-06-21 01:02 am (UTC)As more began to congregate out into the halls, that, to Rodney-in-Radek was the cue to continue on his way to the records room, and pull that information that he'd said he'd have within 30 minutes. The first steps were taken away as Isabel left her own little room.
'Happiness, then disappointment...'. Sounds like me when I found out that Faith was Chloe... Inside voice, Rodney.. inside..
"Right. I'll just..." He pushed up the glasses that always seemed to be sliding. "...get back to work--"

Date: 2007-06-21 10:42 pm (UTC)"I'll be along shortly," he continued to Rodney. "But there are some things that will need to get squared away before we go."
"Don't worry, Danny," Faith linked her arm through his and nudged him with her hip. "We can hold the fort down while all the big brains are gone. After all, you do have yourself a Slayer." If it hadn't been for the briefest flicker of indecision and worry in her eyes, Daniel might have pointed out that at this moment Faith wasn't a Slayer.
She understands the situation better than she's going to let on, Daniel realized. From the look of scrutiny that Isabel and May-in-Hiro gave him, Daniel realized that everyone knew things were not that simple right now.
"Everyone swapped bodies back briefly, that's probably what you felt," Daniel told Isabel, before turning back to Rodney. "Actually, we should probably go now. We can round up Blaise along the way, I'd like to keep him in the loop."
"What about -" May began.
"I'll talk to him, do the translation thing."
Daniel wasn't the only one who stared at Faith.
She shrugged, "Look, I was on the TARDIS, so I can understand him and can speak Japanese and a bunch of other stuff, too, right probably? So, May and Rose and Isabel and me can get him settled. Probably better than you and Blaise doing the soldier thing or the Doctor doing the Doctor-thing.
"Trust me, if there's one thing that's gonna keep him from totally freaking out, it's gonna be three cute blondes paying lots of attention to him." Already detatched from Daniel's arm, Faith waved him and Rodney off. "Go call on the powers of Einstein and relativity and save us all with your big brains. I think we girls can handle it."
She whipped around and gave Hiro-in-May the most innocent, friendly, bright and non-sexual smile that Daniel had ever seen. Faith's words flowed in polite, calm Japanese, "Hello, Hiro. I'm Faith, and while Dr. Jackson and Dr. McKay figure out how to fix all of us -" She stopped and glanced at Rose and Isabel, "well, most of us, we're going to get you settled in and answer any questions because I'm sure you have a lot of them."
Daniel tried very hard not to gape at the transformation as he politely said goodbye to Hiro and turned to Rodney. "I guess that's our cue."
[Isabel]
Date: 2007-06-22 10:41 pm (UTC)She nodded.
"Sounds good," she said. She looked at Daniel. "Best get going as quickly as possible. Not that you really need any encouragement to try and find a solution. We'll get Hiro settled in, and try and keep a lid on anything else. I'm sure that between us we can manage something... and yes, we'll keep an eye on the magic people and make sure they don't do anything rash. Faith's experience might be helpful there," she nodded to the Slayer-in-Chloe, "but anybody with half a brain should be able to make sure they stay grounded in a bit of common sense."
She moved closer to Hiro-in-May, wondering where they'd be able to find a quiet room to have a chat with him. The other cafeteria, probably. "I don't know if you've got any other plans for keeping in touch, but pay attention to your dreams. If something happens you need to know, I'll try dreamwalking. And before you protest-" she held up a hand to stop the inevitable reaction to that suggestion, "I won't be looking or meddling, I'll just be delivering a message and leaving. You're unlikely to be able to formulate a coherent reply while you're asleep anyway."

Date: 2007-06-25 04:03 am (UTC)He broke out in a relieved grin when he heard Japanese, nodding as he listened. "Oh, yes," He moved to push the non-existent glasses back up before he clenched his fists, shoving them in his pockets. "I have many questions..." He looked around them, nervously, rubbing his arm. "Many questions and no ideas where to begin."
[Isabel]
Date: 2007-06-25 08:09 am (UTC)"Sorry," she said, hoping he understood at least that much English. "Bad things happening." She gestured toward the cafeteria which wasn't being used by the magic folks. "This way, please. We can get food and drink, and talk about what is happening."

Date: 2007-06-22 08:37 pm (UTC)He stopped dead as he realised how full the corridor was, but the noise was quite muted considering the number of people there. Staring slack-jawed at the others, he realised Dr Jackson was heading this way. "Doctor Jackson?" he queried, the Czech accent sounding just plain wierd out of Rodney's larynx. "Can.. I talk to you?"
[Daniel]
Date: 2007-06-24 08:20 pm (UTC)"What's the problem, Dr. Zelenka?"
"Never mind!" Daniel heard his own voice, sounding odd with the Doctor's accent come around the corner as the Daniel's own head peeked around the bend as well. "We worked it all out. Come on back, Radek. Lots to do."
Before Daniel could answer, the howls of Orrie began, the mournful cries sending a shiver down his spine, followed by shouts and calls for him. Voices that he could actually hear in the Doctor's body. "Well, it looks like there's another crisis in the work anyway. Tell McKay and the Doctor I'll be along as soon as I can."
