[Ami] Soup's On!
Who: Ami
Where: The Staff, Kitchen
When: Day 28, Sometime between noon and 1PM
Invited: Open to all
Status: Incomplete
Finding her way to the kitchen was easier this time around. Knowing where one is going always makes it easier to get there. The artificial lights – Ami couldn't remember what they were called, but she knew that they mimicked outside sunlight – shone brightly making her think that it was supposed to be indicative of midday. A quick check of the clock on the wall in the surprisingly empty kitchen confirmed that.
Ami walked straightway to the actual kitchen area and began to look in the cupboards and the refrigerator. Someone had started a list of supplies, but it was wholly incomplete. Ami was tempted to work on it until her stomach reminded her – loudly – of her reason for being in the kitchen.
Five minutes of rummaging later, Ami had found a large soup pot, a combination of fresh, frozen and canned vegetables, and noodles. She passed on the beef and chicken flavored buillon and instead stuck to seasonings for the water in the pot.
"Vegetable soup it is," Ami declared to no one in particular and set about cutting the fresh carrots, all the while wondering about the oddities of fresh vegetables on a tropical island.

[Kenzaki]
Kenzaki had been looking around, but there was no evidence of who his wife was or where she was. What had seemed like several hours had passed while he had attempted to find her.
He entered the kitchen, feeling a bit tired. Maybe it wouldn't hurt if he ate something, though he somehow couldn't get excited by food. He sat down heavily in a chair and waved hello to Ami-san.

Left Shift!
[House]
Dull thuds assailed his head as he limped down the corridor from his room. He was a mess... unkempt, unshaven, his clothes a disheveled mess, his jeans and t-shirt... worn. And... apparently, he was crippled, if his inability to rise from the floor unaided was any indication. Thankfully, a rosewood cane was in the room, and once determining the extent of his handicap (a deep gorge in his thigh where once a major muscle resided), he understood. Beyond that, however?
Limping and staggered, House managed to make it to the bathroom to at least look... what? More presentable? But what he saw in the mirror was far from it. Drugs and alcohol in his room... what the hell was going on?
The smell of food both lured him and repelled him, but, after splashing cold water on his face, he followed the aroma, slowly, relearning how to walk.
"What is going on?" His voice was hoarse and soft, as he paused just inside the door. House looked... questionning as he leaned on his cane.
"So have you guys found out any more? Any memories coming back?" She squinted sideways at Ami, who was blushing. "Done anything interesting?"
"Do we know each other?"

[George]
It didn't help that Ami was clearly surprised by the news. "I thought you knew," George said at last. She frowned, then muttered, "I thought everybody knew." It certainly felt like everyone knew--especially with the looks she'd gotten when Chloe or Faith flirted with her.
Ami's question came as more of a surprise. Ami didn't even know who the guilty parties were? That was actually comforting in a way; it was evidence that maybe it wasn't as blatantly obvious to everyone as she feared. George actually smiled faintly, thinking about it. (It's not like Faith doesn't flirt shamelessly with almost everybody here. No reason to assume everybody knows why she flirts so hard with me....)
George glanced around. They weren't getting much attention any longer. She leaned in close as well, and spoke quietly. "Well, there was Jack...." George said.
"Yeah?" Ami asked, looking at her expectantly.
"And, uh, Faith," George said. "And Chloe," she added, then waited to see what kind of reaction she got from Ami.

[Molly] (Tag Tara)
Molly led the blond to the room she had awoke in with Pearl and May.
Inside Pearl wad laying, stretched out on the bottom bunk to the left of the door. There were tears in her eyes. Those eyes went to Molly and Tara the moment they walked in.
"Could one of you please find me something for the pain? I'm afraid I may have popped a stitch or two." She sat up and lifted the skirt she was wearing. One of the wide gauze bandages on her thighs had a blood stain leaking through.
