Ami… and the blue eyes blonde sounded like Daisy, but he hadn’t seen Rose. Was that good or bad?
“I can see the past and the future. I can see the possibilities, but only in generalities. Rarely specifics. Specifics can be mutable, if you don’t already know of a certainty how things should end. But you’ve given us something to be prepared for. At least one of them having to be carried out.” The Doctor had to grin at the confused look Sam gave him.
“I’m a Time Lord. You might say Time is my specialty. You may be able to pick up on the strongest of future possibilities. But it isn’t set, not for you, until you’ve lived it. Unless, you’re dreams are remote viewings, meaning they’re happening now. In which case we can’t change it. And I’m most likely not making any sense to you.”
He kept rotating his shoulder, stretching out the muscles until they burned.
By ten the more sensitive noses among them could actually smell the burnt wood. By eleven, Scott announced they were at the place he and Damon had found.
Something here felt wrong. It crackled to his senses, one of those past what humans could feel. The Doctor took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
“There’s another time disruption close by. One that’s maintained. They’re playing with fire, a time bubble within a time bubble. They’re flirting with a complete temporal collapse. That would be bad. Very, very bad.” They were like children playing with weapons. Eventually they’d kill themselves. But how many would they take with them due to their arrogance.
He opened his eyes. He didn’t need his screwdriver for this. Not when he could feel the source. “This way.”
Blaise cut them short. "Doctor, the others have the burning tree behind them, and they found tire tracks."
"Then they're to our left." The Doctor had led the way to the top of a short hill. "And I 'm willing to wager those are the tracks." He pointed to the rutted trail below.

Date: 2006-08-15 01:38 am (UTC)Dean looked at May, "May, come on, don't let us have all the fun," and then stepped through himself. Couldn't let Sam be the older brother for long...

Date: 2006-08-15 02:17 am (UTC)May took one more 'look" at the barrier, which was still making her senses scream. The one other experience she'd had with any kind of temporal displacement hadn't exactly been pleasant. "If I wind up getting hit on by a teenage version of Dad again..." she muttered before leaping through herself.

[Molly] Oh happy reunion (tag open)
Date: 2006-08-15 01:46 am (UTC)Molly stepped forward, arm in arm with Tara.
There was a passing, like a layer of cool air, though it didn't really change the temperature... no, it did. It was about ten degrees cooler in the passing of a second.
Damon, George, Jon, Scott and everyone who had stepped past the invisable barier were there, looking at them.
"Took you long enough." The Doctor was grinning, and looking a hell of a lot healthier, even if his eyes looked... old. Older than usual. Something here was haunting him.
"Hasn't anyone leant you a shirt yet?" Molly tossed back.
