Dean watched Faith run out of the room. He knew she was a mutant with some extraordinary abilities and he was no physical match for her. So, he didn't take the bait. Instead, he enjoyed the view. He liked women in general any way he could get then, but strong women (physically and emotionally), were a particular preference. It'd been a long time since Cassie.
He strode out after her as she headed outside. She had slowed her pace so he could catch up. He quickened his in response, they were doing a perimeter check, after all.
"What took you so long, sweetcheeks?" Faith said with a grin.
"Oh, I like to take my time. No sense in rushing things you don't have to."
They began to walk around the perimiter, Faith setting a good pace. One that was not too quick so they could properly scan the area, but just quick enough that Dean knew she was looking to test his limits. He smiled. He liked this girl.
"So, when did your mutant powers first appear?" Dean's shotgun was casually placed in a posture that he could respond quickly if anything happened. He laughed at Faith's look. "I know, not exactly a good question-to-break-the-ice, but then I don't really think your the shy reserved type."

Re: [Faith] Looking for Wheels (tag Dean)
Date: 2006-08-22 12:47 am (UTC)Damn, why couldn't all women offer themselves like this. Would make his life a whole damn lot easier.
He saw where the tire tracks were going and followed Faith. "Well, I am sure we can find a room when we get back to take care of your little problem. No one said you had to stand watch all night just because you're this Slayer person..."
Faith was going to respond to that remark when they rounded the tree and sure enough, found a vehicle...or sorts. It was a WW2 style Army Jeep. "Schweet!" Dean exclaimed as he began scanning the area.
don't know if we were supposed to find anything. If not, I'll repost.

[Faith] Finding Wheels (tag Dean)
Date: 2006-08-22 04:16 am (UTC)Dean was scanning the area and checking the perimeter, so Faith did her sweep in the opposite direction, keeping him in her peripheral. No one jumped out at them and they ended together at the off-road vehicle.
"I'm probably gonna jinx us by sayin' that this is way too easy, but beggars can't be choosers, right?" Faith asked. She ran her hands over the hood and passenger side door of the jeep, caressing it with the tenderness and sensuality that she would a lover. Maybe more. "Now, something tells me that if our guys had wheels, they would have taken 'em to get outta here. So either, they had more than one set, and given the number of 'em we got under house arrest, I wouldn't be surprised by that.
"But that also means that our friends have another HQ somewhere."
Something about the car was off though. It didn't set her Slayer sense all tingly, so it wasn't a trap or that kind of danger. There was just something about this car that seemed different from other cars. She continued her caressing circuit, occasionally flashing Dean a lascivious smile, while inspecting the vehicle.
"Whoa!" Dean exclaimed in the midst of his own inspection. "This thing is solar and electrical powered!"
It clicked what was wrong. The jeep didn't have a gas tank – and Dean had just discovered why.
[Dean] Vroom! Vroom! (tag Faith)

He jumped in the jeep and checked the 'ignition' quickly for traps. When he didn't see any immediately apparent, he pushed the button. It would be too much to say the engine 'roared to life'. More, it high-pitch whirred. Dean's shoulders sank. "Well, that was disappointing." But, the battery was fully charged. That was something at least.
"Well, hop on pretty lady. Not exactly the ride I was hoping for, but ya gotta love a classic!" Dean grinned.
